One of the most upcoming innovations that has arisen in the healthcare industry is the arrival of hand hygiene monitoring systems used to measure and maintain the level of hand hygiene of healthcare taker in hospitals and clinics around the United States (Digital Journal, 2019).
Spread of germs due to deficient hand hygiene by hospital employees has been cited as one of the most important factors leading to recovery time of patients. Similarly, The World Health Organization has cited hand hygiene as one of the most important recommendations to improve healthcare around the world, and has advised as a mechanism for the increase of the use of hand hygiene monitoring systems (Digital Journal, 2019).
One of the most recent hand hygiene monitoring systems that has been developed include the biotechnology company, BioVigil Healthcare Systems.
